Launched in 2013, this race oriented XC bike is remarkable for its innovative clean lines, its light weight and it's do-anything character. This frame, specifically developed for 29'' wheels by Lapierre engineers, has a geometry for competition, a simplified structure and mono-pivot suspension design for stiffness and weight control. An ultra-performance light-weight bike, with unbeatable traction, the XR is also incredibly at ease in descent thanks to the combination of its rear shock and large wheels, and the low position that gives confidence to the rider. The lack of articulation between seatstays and chainstays is compensated by the "flex" in the carbon rear triangle. The specially developed Fox shock offers 100mm of travel. We have 2 sets available for Hire: Full Carbon Clincher Wheelset (U60 Front, U80 Rear) & 3K Full Carbon Tubular Disc Wheel.

Detec Tubular Wheels are lighter, handle better & are more comfortable than clincher wheels.

To take full advantage of Tubular wheels - they need to be tested in real-world conditions. We allow you to hire these wheels for Race.

• Demo Bike/Item must be returned within 3 days of hire unless by prior written agreement.
• Valid Photo ID is required to hire all demo products.
• Full payment of the item must be paid in advance of the hire commencing.
• The payment will be returned in full only after the item has been subject to inspection and is verified as being of the same state as that when it was hired out.
• The hirer understands that they should have personal insurance cover whilst making use of the items.
• During the period of hire, the hirer is solely responsible and fully indemnifies The Cycle SuperStore ltd. for any loss, damage or injury.
• Only one bicycle can be taken in any demo period.
• The hirer fully absolves The Cycle SuperStore ltd., and its employees, from all liabilities arising whilst the hirer is fully responsible for the hired item.
• The hirer fully accepts liability and all cost arising from injury to themselves and/or to third parties during the period of hire.
• The hirer accepts that they are competent to ride the bicycle or make appropriate and safe use of the item and that they will wear a helmet and any and all necessary safety equipment at all times whilst doing so.
• Cycle SuperStore reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and without prior notice.
